Thank you for choosing Benefit Defender. We are here to help you manage your health care and health insurance benefits. You will be able to setup your account in three easy steps. If you do not want to use an existing Facebook, Yahoo, or Google account to login with Benefit Defender you can create a separate Benefit Defender Login.
Benefit Defender will NOT be utilizing the potential public information contained in your authenticating accounts pictures, contacts, friends, etc. and will NOT release and/or sell your identifiable information to other organizations, people, etc. To be clear, the authentication provider with which you choose to use as your login, will NOT have access to your Benefit Defender record or its information. Benefit Defender utilizes a secure protocol to enable HIPAA compliant access to your account. By using your existing accounts with Facebook, Google and Yahoo we will not utilize any additional information maintained by these third party organizations. Benefit Defender only utilizes Facebook, Google and Yahoo username and password for you to access your Benefit Defender account. Benefit Defender does not store your username and password for these particular authentication providers, and your credentials will continue to be maintained by Facebook, Google and Yahoo. We do not provide or share any information maintained by Benefit Defender with these authentication providers.
The first time that you create a Benefit Defender account using one of the authentication providers (Facebook, Google or Yahoo), you will be asked to share some basic information from your connecting account so that Benefit Defender will be allowed to use the provider for authorization. Please be mindful that each provider has a different authentication confirmation request. While approval of this step is necessary, rest assured that the only information obtained from this request is your username.
